What is Tryfan?

Tryfan is a formidable peak in Eryri, Wales and holds a special place in Welsh culture and mythology. It is often referred to as the "Matterhorn of Wales" due to its striking resemblance to the famous Swiss peak. The mountain has inspired numerous legends and folklore, adding to its allure and mystique.

Why are we named after Tryfan?

This peak is an extreme challenge to climb - aggressive, steep, technical and awe-inspiring. As a Mountain Leader of twenty five years, Daniel has lead teams up the some of the most challenging mountains in the UK and US and climbed Europe's highest peaks.
